who will be the next malaysian idol?

last nite, the grand finale of malaysian idol 2nd season was held. the winner is quite hard to be predicted since the voting trend was quite uncertain. here are my personal rating:

1st round
daniel - mimpi 6.5/10
nita - berhenti berharap 9.5/10

2nd round
daniel - heaven knows 8/10
nita - big spender 7/10

3rd round
daniel - angin malam 8/10
nita - mimpi 8.5/10

final verdict
daniel - 22.5
nita - 25

but based on the previous voting trends, daniel seemed to have a very strong fan base. in many of the spectaculars, daniel were saved by his fans' votes. maybe because he's cute and adorable singer. in addition he's a talented singer who can play music intruments. so, based on this, daniel may receive a good number of votes.

in the other hand, nita is just a normal singer on initial spectaculars. she is improving alot from spectacular to the next spectacular. but then, she was quite in incomfortable positions where she had been in bottom 3, bottom 2 in many spectacular results. she didn't have a strong fan base. but she also comes into package, just like daniel. nevertheless she did very well in all of her 3 songs last nite including the single "mimpi". all-out!

last but not least, i think that both of them have equal chance to win the title. in terms of voting trend, yes, daniel may win. but in terms of performance, of course nita has overshined daniel last nite. and maybe some voters turned to vote nita due respect to her overall performance (erk, including me :P). with this judgement, i really hope that nita should win the title :) go nita go!
