hotel review - jb
quite some time i need to brainstorm myself, what should be put in this blog. since then, i'd got an idea, what about writing a review on the hotels in jb.
since i'd been in jb for 2 weeks and i'd been stayed at 4 different hotels. i like to share a few wit u all. sorry, my writing is quite horrible and not arranged in a proper way. lol, forgot how to write a good writing.
the assessment was done as follows:
1. condition: the room condition where i stayed at (bed, tv, toilet, arrangement, lighting)
2. hospitality: how the hotel staff behaved, treat customers (receptionist, housekeeping etc.)
3. lift: accessibility to my hotel room from hotel lobby/parking
4. breakfast: types of foods & beverages served, condition of coffee house, quality, serving time
5. parking: way in, way out, parking spaces, distance from hotel lift/room
6. final verdict: overall satisfaction, including worth of money spent
crystal crown hotel
rate: rm150/nite (corp rate)
type: deluxe (king bed)
condition: 4/5
hospitality: 3.5/5
lift: 3/5
breakfast: 3.5/5
parking: 3/5
final verdict: 7/10 (ok)
comments: easy accessible through main road but maintenance was quite poor. maybe the hotel was already there since i was a lil child. lol.
mutiara hotel

type: deluxe (king bed)
condition: 4.5/5
hospitality: 4/5
lift: 4/5
breakfast: 4.5/5

final verdict: 8.5/10 (excellent)
comments: quite far from the main road, just side-by-side of shopping complex, i'd got 7 entries for a held contest which in running for chevrolet aveo, wow! wish i could win it :P err but i got really painful stomach ache (becos taking a dinner in mamak restaurant nearby), food poisoning i think. that's all, others are execellente!!
new york hotel

type: deluxe (2 single bed)
condition: 3.5/5

final verdict: 6.5/10 (average)
comments: a new hotel, a new experience. but, parking was a nightmare, i was forced to get validation at reception counter for magnetic pass everytime i went out wit my car. in addition, there are only 3 lifts that will bring to ur rooms, waiting is my headache.
hotel selesa

type: deluxe (1 queen + 1 single)
condition: 3/5
hospitality: 2/5
lift: 3/5
breakfast: 2/5
parking: 3/5
final verdict: 5/10 (poor)
comments: as the rating shows, this hotel was giving me the most frightening experience during my outstation stay in jb. actually, this hotel is under a new mgmt. it was formerly known as grand continental, which i think most of us would be thinking of a good service, but i didnt work for me. first, there were 3 groups checking in the hotel for events. they didnt manage it in a proper way. wit 10 irons, how u gonna make use of it for 1000 ppl who staying there. taking a breakfast was another headache which i had to sit at messy table, sharing wit ppl who i didnt even know, running for foods like u begging for. what a 'wonderful journey'. !#@%^*$&
